About me
I am actively seeking full-time opportunities in Robotics/Autonomy (Robotics Software, Perception, Planning, and Systems). I am open to relocation. Feel free to reach out if you think I am a good fit!
I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University, advised by Prof. Stavros Kalafatis in the Robotics, AR, and VR Research group. My research focuses on robust architectures for modular multi-robot systems operating over challenging networks combining perception, planning, and edge-cloud orchestration (ROS, Docker, Kubernetes/K3s) with learning-based control.
Before TAMU, I earned my B.Tech (Honors) in Electronics & Electrical Communications Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, collaborating with Prof. Pradip Mandal on switched-capacitor DC-DC converters and with Prof. Mrigank Sharad on SoC controllers for miniature robots. I’ve built and deployed platforms that uses Robotic manipulators and Sensor Fusion for precison agriculture, co-authored projects with the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt on a realistic car-factory digital twin, and previously worked as an SDE at OYO. Outside the lab, I mentor student teams and enjoy building communities around robotics and AI.
This summer, I worked at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) as summer research intern under supervision of Dr. Jianlin Guo. My task was to carry out research on mobile IoT network design methodology. I conducted comprehensive literature survey and developed innovative UAV path planning technologies to support UAV assisted IoT networks. The developed technologies were evaluated under different network configurations and outperform benchmarks on various performance metrics. The patent filing and research paper submission are in progress. Due to MERL confidentiality policy, no more information can be provided.
